Spray Dogz is a new, cabinet door hanging system designed for professional decorators.
If you have ever hand-painted a kitchen, you will know it’s not a quick job. It’s slow, detailed, repetitive and demanding. Doors off, hinges labelled, sanding until arms ache, priming, painting, finishing – then doing it all again on the other side. Painter and decorator Gareth Thompson could see the benefits of hanging, but he couldn’t go with the idea of making holes in door edges and screwing in cup hooks. Although that was a secure option, other wire form hooks and clips looked like an accident waiting to happen, with the potential for doors falling off hangers and becoming damaged.
After dealing with these frustrations, Gareth decided enough was enough. If the perfect system didn’t exist, he’d build it himself.
Spray Dogz wasn’t born out of theory – it was born out of experience. Gareth knew exactly what decorators needed because he had lived the job for 40 years. He knew the angles, the workflow, the problems and the solutions that mattered.
So, he designed a system that:
- Holds doors securely
- Let’s decorators spray both sides efficiently
- Speeds up the job without cutting corners
- Delivers consistent, professional results
- Works in any workshop, spray booth, or on-site.
Spray Dogz became more than a tool. It became a method – a cleaner, smarter, more reliable way to spray kitchen doors. Decorators in the UK have already started using it, and the feedback has been exactly what Gareth hoped for: “It’s simple.” “It’s solid.” “It just works.”
