A well-loved local snooker club in Hull has undergone a vibrant transformation, breathing new life into the cherished local space.
Tradewell Snooker Club has been given a fresh new look, creating a warm and inviting space for members, friends, community groups and residents of all ages. Run by a local family, the hall has evolved into more than just a place to play snooker. It’s now a thriving community hub, where people can come together to socialise, and enjoy snooker in an inspiring setting.
The refurbishment was led by Johnstone’s Paint, in partnership with the World Snooker Tour (WST), and carried out by local specialists CTS Decorating Services with support from Johnstone’s Paint volunteers.
Antoni Tuniewicz, the owner of Tradewell Snooker Club in Hull, said: “All the members have commented on how good it looks! We’ve been lucky, there hasn’t been a massive disruption; members still came here every day and every night while the renovation was going on. We can’t thank Johnstone’s Paint and World Snooker Tour enough.”
The colour scheme was designed to feel calm and welcoming. Soft greens and blues create a relaxed mood, while an off-white entrance brightens the space and sets a friendly tone. Darker walls in the snooker hall draw attention to the tables, and the pool room combines light and dark tones for a fresh, durable finish.
The refurbishment has not only revitalised the club’s interior but also reinforced its role as a source of local pride for Hull, giving residents a refreshed space to enjoy snooker for years to come. To see the transformation in full, watch here: youtube.com/watch?v=-pRmwYNxfK8
